Commuting in the Rain

Posted on Aug 17th, 2007 by Patrick : Eternal Laughter Patrick
August in Texas. Ah the ... Rain? June and July were filled with rain in Austin, and just when you think it's over, August comes around and "Erin the tropical Depression" travels up the gulf and hits us again. It felt good this morning riding my bike and to have it start a light sprinkle, just enough to cool me off. It's usuallly about 82 and humid in the mornings on my 5-mile zip through town to work. The ride gives me time to reflect and not listen to the radio, not check email, not answer the phone. Ok, maybe sometimes I'll answer:-)
